2026-2030 International Program Overview

Service and sisterhood have been the cornerstone of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® since 1908. With the theme, Championing Service, Empowering Sisterhood and Transforming the World, the 2026-2030 administration advances a modern, measurable, and member-centered approach to service, one that is flexible enough to meet local community needs while scalable enough to create worldwide impact.

This administration has eight initiatives. "AKA Foster the Future: From Here to Hope" will serve as the administration’s signature program. It is a compassionate call to action designed to uplift vulnerable children and families by addressing immediate needs while creating long-term opportunities for stability, success, and belonging.

The remaining eight initiatives will serve as the “Program Initiatives” which include:

Developed through conversations with members, chapter leaders, educators, families, business professionals, and community stakeholders across the sisterhood, the 2026–2030 program reflects a shared vision for initiatives that are customizable, sustainable, collaborative, and impactful.
